Cooper’s Hawk is looking for a Retail & E-Commerce Product Manager to join the Retail Team and support the business in becoming a lifestyle brand leader. Cooper’s Hawk mission is to enrich people’s lives. The retail lifestyle platform is a strategic pillar to help Cooper’s Hawk achieve its lifestyle brand aspirations. The right individual for this position will have passion for omni-channel lifestyle merchandising and product development and experience with proven results.

This role will be based at the Restaurant Support Center in Downer’s Grove, Il and will offer a hybrid work arrangement of 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop recommendations for product/collection assortment strategies, based on targeted research and analysis, to achieve specific volume and margin objectives. Plan and Execute exit strategies as needed.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence and trend analysis to inform and identify opportunities and challenges for in-season business and future seasons.
  • In partnership with the VP of Retail & E-Commerce, manage all aspects of private label and branded product sourcing and development.
  • Support product development through strong vendor partnerships and communication.
  • Support Retail team in building and maintaining assortment plans and SKU counts.
  • Develop and Drive Retail eCommerce merchandising strategy, including all site changes and interaction with X-Cart team and Cooper’s Hawk IT teams, to ensure eCommerce growth, profitability and guest engagement. Use reporting analytics and merchandising experience to shape the customer journey.
  • Support In-Restaurant Lifestyle Merchandising Strategy through creation and execution of product merchandising plans. (Planogram software experience or related experience is required.) Provide monthly feedback and support to restaurants on merchandising execution.
  • Create and Communicate Seasonal roll-out and Merchandising plans. Explore new ways of providing first class restaurant support.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Must Represent Coop’s Hawk Values
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years omni-channel merchandising and product development experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years e-commerce experience including product management and product search.
  • Retail Product Development/ Merchandising Portfolio recommended.
  • Deep understanding of market and consumer with capability of actioning insights.
  • Creative thinker able to influence and drive key strategies.
  • Brings an entrepreneurial spirit that is willing to take risks and is not comfortable with the status quo.
  • Demonstrated ability to profitably manage and grow a business.
  • Ability to analyze and extrapolate key findings to execute and drive successful implementation.
  • Demonstrates leadership through clear and authentic communication style.
  • Team Player who thrives in collaborative environment.
  • Ability to create strong relationships with internal team members and vendor base.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects. Detail Oriented, Strong Organization skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Planogram software experience or related experience is required.

Physical Job Functions:

  • Ability to manage themselves in a hybrid work environment
  • Flexibility to travel up to 20- 25% to retail markets and restaurant locations
  • Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
  • Flexible hours may be required to support retail initiatives
