The Restaurant Systems Analyst provides technical expertise supporting and administering restaurant applications at Cooper’s Hawk. This role is responsible for all technical components in this area, including for user administration, transactions troubleshooting, upgrades, enhancements, and integration of applications with APIs or data file extracts. This position is based out of our Downers Grove, IL office, where we have a hybrid work environment (3 days a week in the office). 

What You'll Do:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for the POS system and other restaurant-related applications.
  • Configure POS changes, such as menu item updates, special event packages, retail items, etc.
  • Manage vendor partners to ensure support, configuration and other tasks are being fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot scheduled POS data integration processes.
  • Work collaboratively across IT teams and business representatives as a technical subject matter expert for restaurant applications.
  • Adhere to all configuration and change management procedures and audit compliance requirements.
  • Support standards within restaurant applications to ensure high availability, accuracy, financial & security integrity.
  • Perform routine quality assurance testing of POS and related applications.
  • Identify and communicate risks and issues that impact business processes, guest experience and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the evaluation of feasibility, effort, and costs to implement requirements.
  • Ensure all documentation in area of responsibility are created and up to date.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on different projects or support activities.
  • Ensure First Class Support is provided by quickly and effectively resolving problems and requests.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Must represent Cooper's Hawk values
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience providing system support in a multi-location, high-transaction environment.
  • Previous restaurant systems and/or POS system experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with databases, SQL, and other business reporting tools.
  • Ability to effectively translate technology into non-technical business terminology.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, ability to prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, ability to interpret results to identify trends.
  • Excellent customer service experience with a passion for helping others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including face-to-face, written, or via phone.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate effective professional relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Available for occasional travel to local restaurants to troubleshoot issues/provide application support and overnight travel to support new restaurant openings several times a year.
