Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants is continuing to grow the wine club and open more restaurants across the country. The Manager, Email & Mobile Marketing will serve as a creative, results-driven channel expert to support strategy development and lead the execution of ongoing acquisition, engagement, and retention marketing initiatives for the wine club and restaurants brands (Cooper’s Hawk, Piccolo Buco, and other).  This role will partner closely with our Marketing Analytics team to develop and maintain CRM programs/marketing communications via email/mobile push/in-app messaging/other channels powered by analytic insights and predictive models. The position will report to the Sr. Director of Wine Club Marketing & CRM and is located at the Restaurant Support Center in Downers Grove, IL.   
What You'll Do:
  • Plan and execute CRM programs and campaigns for Email & Mobile to meet growth, revenue, retention, engagement targets and to maximize lifetime value, working with the greater marketing team, operations/finance/training/IT teams 
  • Manage Email & Mobile (push and in-app messaging) calendars and execution; optimize the effectiveness of programs and enhance with added lifecycle components, targeting, personalization features, and design templates
  • Develop creative assets and compelling content programs, collaborating with marketing, social, web teams
  • Manage cross channel hand-off/coordination (email, mobile, web, in-restaurant) to ensure a seamless experience; provide direction for the creation of landing pages and content on owned websites
  • Monitor results for email/mobile channels and by individual campaigns, working with Analytics team, in order to identify opportunities and craft ongoing improvement strategies
  • Maintain and evolve a robust A/B testing framework and consumer insight feedback loop to validate and drive key business decisions and overall consumer experience
  • Support the launch, adoption, and ongoing enhancements of the mobile app
  • Contribute to weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews and annual planning
  • Build efficient processes to enable and ensure effective collaboration, flawless execution, and quality outputs in order to achieve business targets
  • Perform QA tests and verify that email renders accurately across email clients and ISP’s; perform cross-device testing of email campaigns (desktop and mobile)
  • Continuously improve channel engagement metrics; manage the health of email/mobile lists (deliverability) and reputation of domains
  • Constantly stay informed with best-in-class retention practices, including 1:1 personalization, triggers, deliverability, send frequency, subject line best practices, and creative approaches
  • Build strong relationships and be a trusted partner to internal Marketing, Operations, and Leadership teams

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent degree required 
  • At least 5 years of experience in a marketing (3+ years in CRM/email, 1+ years in mobile - push, in-app, SMS, MMS); digital marketing and direct response experience are required 
  • Experience in creating and managing integrated campaigns end-to-end from strategy, creative concepting, audience selection, to execution on Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms
  • Experience with building, executing, and scaling cross-channel marketing programs (email/mobile/web)
  • Experience in channel strategy, lifecycle & targeted marketing, personalization, and email/web performance metrics and optimization
  • Deep knowledge of email/mobile best practices, marketing automation systems, advanced testing/optimization strategies, and campaign analyses
  • Experience managing budgets, agencies, and partner relationships
  • Excellent writing, editing skills; experience in writing customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to segment/journey/user flows
  • Creative eye with understanding of branding, upscale/luxury marketing
  • Understand and support our compliance with consumer protection laws (CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR, CASL, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior management teams  
  • Highly organized problem solver with attention to detail; strong project/workflow management skills  
  • Ability to collaborate across functional teams and put the pieces of the puzzle together; ability to see the big picture and willing to be hands-on and be involved in many key projects that impact the business

  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email development; must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Google Analytics and Adobe Creative Suites preferred
  • Experience delivering results for subscription brands preferred
